The world's top-selling jazz instrumentalist, GRAMMY-winning trumpeter Chris Botti was never the same after hearing Miles Davis' version of 'My Funny Valentine' when he was 12. Botti has since made his sumptuous clarion sound, fluent phrasing, and evocative sense of space into a distinct signature. For this performance, recorded during his sold-out run in January 2020, Botti brought his hugely entertaining 9-piece band featuring saxophonist Andy Snitzer, violin virtuoso Anastasiia Mazurok, and the show-stopping vocalist Sy Smith.
A masterly musician equally at home in the realms of jazz and pop, Botti has recorded over a dozen albums and collaborated with everyone from Yo-Yo Ma and Herbie Hancock to Paul Simon, Joni Mitchell, and Sting. His most recent release, Impressions, was a GRAMMY winner for Best Instrumental Pop Album.
